The goal of the project was to locate interesting abandoned places in the old part of town (atriums, stairways, passages, bridges, chapels doorways, firewalls) to present them in a new form and make them more noticeable.
We chose eleven spaces with a unique ambience in the old city centre – mostly around the Mestni, Gornji and Stari trg squares. We singled out and emphasized their characteristics and peculiarities. We placed a ‘surprise’ element into each of the spaces, corresponding to their characteristics: fishbowls with goldfish, 300 kg of apples, 5 deckchairs, a hillside meadow, beds of lettuce, and other quirky items. All of the atriums, staircases and passages were thoroughly cleaned before and after the event.
